Masayuki Adachi, MS, L.Ac.
Founder, Adachi Acupuncture & Herb Clinic – Manhattan, NYC
I help professionals and active individuals resolve chronic pain, internal imbalances, and complex conditions by addressing the root pattern rather than chasing symptoms.
My approach blends Dr. Tan’s Balance Method with Japanese meridian palpation and structural alignment principles. This allows me to reduce pain quickly while simultaneously correcting the underlying dysfunction that caused it.
Many patients notice measurable shifts in tension, range of motion, or pain levels during the first session. But my work does not stop at symptom relief. Treatment is structured in phases:
Relief → Corrective → Restorative.
This phased model allows the body to stabilize and adapt rather than relapse.

What Makes My Work Different
I began studying Eastern manual therapy in 2001 as a Shiatsu therapist. That early training shaped how I evaluate the body: through touch, tissue quality, and structural feedback rather than relying only on symptoms.
I combine:
• Balance Method acupuncture
• Japanese palpation techniques
• Herbal medicine
• Seitai based structural approach
This allows me to treat musculoskeletal conditions, neurological tension patterns, hormonal imbalances, digestive dysfunction, and stress related disorders with precision.

Who I Work With
Many of my patients are executives, physicians, athletes, performers, and professionals who require efficient, discreet, and highly focused care. Some include international leaders, professional athletes, and figures in media and performing arts.
They come not for temporary relief, but for long term resilience.
