I have always preferred Eastern medicine over Western medicine but it’s hard to find someone who really understands what they are doing. I was referred by my friend and I cannot thank my friend enough. Masa has extensive knowledge and experience. I totally agree with him saying our emotional states affect our physical states. My neck pain got better after the first session but I waited a while to write this review just to see if my neck stays better. I’m a filmmaker living and working in Manhattan. About 5 years ago I discovered Masa and since then I have been seeing him regularly for both acupuncture as well as bodywork. He is excellent with both. To point, I had a hip injury last year that was slow to heal and caused a good deal of pain and immobility. After just one acupuncture session with Masa I saw improvement and after three sessions I was fully mended. Japanese bodywork is a wonderful science and incredibly effective.
